Fall City: A Tale of Two Homes
Every once in a while, you’re privileged to work on a particularly special transaction. Recently, I was able to represent a family who sold their 1929 Craftsman home in beautiful Fall City, Washington. We were able to successfully negotiate a sale and find the family the perfect new construction home a short five minutes away.
Understandably, my sellers wanted to stay in Fall City. If you’ve never had a chance to visit this town along the Snoqualmie River, it’s certainly a must to add to your radar. Tucked against the Cascade foothills, the proximity to Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond make this picturesque community the ideal location. This town radiates idyllic Americana while only being 25 miles east of downtown Seattle. The hometown charm is accompanied by surprising features such as a breathtaking lavender farm, incredible Wallaby ranch, and the nationally ranked Mt. Si high school.
My seller’s home had perfectly fit this town’s aesthetic. Exuding in charm and anchored by a dreamy Willow Tree, you couldn’t help but feel welcomed to step inside. The architecture of the home carefully honors period details and delights you to extensive millwork and exposed fir floors throughout. The heart of the home is a generous dining room with a notable glazed fired block fireplace featuring built-ins. The new owners have surely found their perfect Fall City enclave.
The new home my sellers purchased is only a quick drive down the road in Redwing, a small new-home community. The houses were built by Sapphire Homes, a reputable building company that creates beautifully constructed homes. They believe in delivering the best quality products to homeowners and include many luxury amenities that are typically viewed as upgrades. Their hands-on approach ensures quality throughout every step of the process and results in exceptional homes that are built to last.
The setting of this property is absolutely serene. The gorgeous new construction home features four bedrooms and three and a half baths across a generous 3,543 square feet. The features are endless with 10-foot ceilings, a spacious chef’s kitchen, covered outdoor living space, a three-car garage and much more.
I’m incredibly happy for all involved and wish the families wonderful memories in their respective new homes.
